Direct Animal Action are taking action for rodeo animals this summer and we need you to join us outside the Waikato Rode, Saturday 15 February, 1pm at Kihikihi Domain, Crn Oliver & Bryce Streets, Kihikihi, Te Awamutu.
All placards and banners will be provided as we’re sticking to a set theme. So no need to bring anything, just yourself and some friends!
Please wear black clothing to fit our theme.
Follow our Facebook event for updates and information.
We ask you to arrive at the Kihikihi School carpark, 71 Whitmore Street, Kihikihi at 12.30pm for a briefing session from our action co-ordinators.
This will be a peaceful and positive action aimed at raising awareness within the local community and keeping the national spotlight on the suffering of rodeo animals. We ask that everyone respects the vision of this action to help us minimize the likelihood of confrontation.
Rodeo can never be humane. It’s up to all of us to call on the Government to end this cruelty. Start 2020 off by taking action for the animals, we’ll see you there!
