Animal advocates who were inside the Mid Northern Rodeo were told by rodeo organisers they could not film using high definition cameras. Rodeo organisers stopped the rodeo to tell the activists they must stop filming or they would be trespassed. This week we handed-in 30,000 signatures against Mainland Poultry’s proposed mega egg factory farm in Orini to Waikato Distrcit Council.
Our petition hand-in followed a hearing held at the Council to decide if the mega farm will be built. A decision is expected in February 2019.
